Fringe Benefits

Any benefit received by employees in addition to their wages or salary is known as Fringe Benefits. Common Fringe Benefits are company pension scheme, a company car, house allowances, medical insurance, paid holidays, subsidized meals etc. All add to the cost of employing labor, but are expected to pay for themselves by their contribution to staff loyalty and this leads to reduction in employee turnover.
